The Simple Sock is a quick and easy cuff-down knit. It was designed for the Dean and Bean’s Circular Sock Machine but can be adapted to other sock machines. A Crank Along video series is available on our YouTube channel.

This sock features a hung hem, wrapped needle short-row heel, and the same method for the toe which is then kitchenered shut. The full pattern includes a formula to produce perfectly fitted socks.

The most common cylinder sizes for socks are 54, 60, 64, or 72 needle.
