Simple Socks - Learn to Knit Socks
Learn to Knit socks with pictures and clear directions. I wrote this pattern because my friend lives 400 miles away and wanted to learn how to knit socks. It’s clear and easy to do.
All sizes from newborn to men’s size xxxxl are included.
Socks are made with fingering yarn at a gauge of 8 stitches / inch.
Use the needle size you need to get gauge. This is a pattern to learn how to knit socks. All socks. There are suggestions for variations, but the sock pattern is for the socks pictured on the cover.
The largest sock takes about 450 -550 yards. You can make a ladies size 10, a child’s size 8 and a newborn from one skein of 435 yards of fingering weight yarn at gauge 8 stitches / inch.
