This crochet houseplant is part of series of crochet houseplants I designed to be quick and beginner friendly. The greenery is made in 3 identical pieces that are sewn onto a crochet “soil” sphere. The “soil” sphere allows the finished plant to sit snugly inside a 4” terracotta pot from the local craft store, or a pot of your choosing. The yarn has different shades of green to give the leaves more interest like a real variegated spider plant.

NOTE: The way that this plant is constructed allows for it to be repotted with ease. You could also make a few of these in different shades of green and plant them together in a larger pot.

Finished size: about 7” tall
