Simple Stitches Upper-Case Alphabet
I made an easy to stitch upper-case alphabet that you can use in order to add a personal touch to your projects. It’s versatile, and can be implemented with knitting, crochet, or cross stitch.
You can stitch the letters into blankets, pillows, sweaters, jackets, shawls, scarves, and wash cloths. You can add them to book covers, tissue box covers; make soft blocks for small children to play with, wall hangings, garlands, and door hangers. You could also put a pretty border around each letter….the possibilities are endless, so be creative and let your imagination go wild!
You can use any yarn you want; any size or type you choose, but please make sure that your knitting needles or crochet hook matches the size of the yarn.
You need to have basic knitting knowledge, and also be familiar with colorwork and how to switch from one yarn to another properly. As an alternative, you can use the duplicate stitch to add the letters to your work. If you’re not experienced with any of these methods, please look up a tutorial.
- I want to keep my patterns free for everyone to use, but in return I would like to ask you not to sell them or claim them as your own. You are free to sell the completed projects you make with my patterns, however.
Have fun, and happy knitting or crocheting!
