These socks are a great learning tool for beginners--and they are fun to make! The directions are literally step-by-step and very user-friendly. The socks are knit in the round using double-pointed needles. There are two options for creating the heel: traditional heel flap and gussets and short rows. There are also two options for finishing the toe: Kitchener stitch and three-needle bind off. Even striping is created by using an invisible jog. These cozy, soft socks also make great gifts!
