There are 2 things that make this scarf so cool. The 1st is that you can create a neat vertical stripe pattern using short rows and not have to crochet back and forth the entire length of the scarf to get your stripes , you 2 colors will magically line up to each other to create the stripes. The 2nd cool thing is that you will carry both colors through the whole thing alternating colors each row and just crocheting around the extra strand of the other color, so even though you change colors every row, there is almost no weaving in of ends.
