This simple summer poncho pattern is given in one size to fit an adult small. However, it does include basic sizing notes on how to increase or decrease this to any size you need from baby to large adult sizes.
I worked this up in Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn and Red Heart Super Saver Ombre, but you can choose any other yarn and hook size that you want. You would just need to adjust your starting chains for a custom fit.
Materials & Measurements for 24/7 Cotton Poncho:
Yarn: Lion Brand Yarns - 24/7 Cotton (Medium, #4; 100% Mercerized Cotton; 3.5oz/100g; 186yds/170m) 7 balls.
Crochet Hook: I/9-5.50mm
Gauge before blocking: 12 sc = 4”.
Gauge After blocking: 9 sc = 4”.
Finished Size: Measuring from point to point from the neckline down it measures approximately 34”. Measuring in between the corner points from the neckline down it measures 21.5”.
Materials & Measurements for Super Saver Poncho:
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Ombre (Worsted Weight (#4) 100% acrylic, 10 oz/283g – 482 yds/440m) 1 ball for poncho as shown.
Crochet Hook: I/9-5.50mm
Gauge: 11 sc = 4”.
Finished Size: XS/Teen. Measuring from point to point from the neckline down it measures approximately 17”. Measuring in between the corner points from the neckline down it measures 12.5”.
