This pattern INCLUDES instructions for four different yarn weights: fingering, sport, dk and worsted.

This breezy warm weather top’s simple construction and square shape contradict its’ ability to take on a curvy and drapey look when worn.. especially when knit with a fiber or fibers suited to summer such as silk, linen, cotton or viscose.

Knitted in the round from the bottom hem up to the armholes, the front and back bodice portions are then worked separately back and forth in rows with shoulder seams joined using the three needle bind-off method (instructions included). A few rows of garter stitch frame the hem and neckline with the minimal cap sleeves echoing this detail.

This top is designed to allow between 2½ to 4¾ inches / 6.5 to 12 cm of positive ease around the widest part of the torso for a casual yet not too oversized fit.
