Emma loves to use crochet to embellish various accessories and her sun hat was crying out for some colour, so she brightened it up with some pretty crocheted flowers using leftover DK and 4ply cotton with different size hooks to give her a variety of sizes. You can add leaves, beads of even fabric to your hat - when you think about it the possibilities are endless!
Emma’s flowers have been stitched directly on to the hat, but it would be just as easy to create a detachable brooch by sewing them to some felt and adding a pin.
