Dive into Tunisian crochet by working this one skein crochet shawl! The shawl is a meditative triangle wrap using only basic Tunisian stitches, easy repeated rows and self striping yarn to create interest!
It’s a great confidence booster for beginners and can also be a nice, mindful project for more advanced crocheters.
MATERIALS
Suggested hook: 6 mm Tunisian hook with 32’’ cord
Notions: scissors, darning needle, stitch markers, blocking supplies
Yarn: 150 grams of DK weight yarn. Fingering weight yarn held double can also be used.
Yardage: 590 yds of size 3 DK weight yarn
Suggested yarn: Mandala by Lion Brand Yarn. Color pictured: Wishing Well
You may substitute with any yarn (brand & weight) just use recommended hook size and follow pattern.
The pattern is written in US crochet terms.
Blocking your shawl is recommended.
