I believe this pattern is most suitable for intermediate and advanced crocheters but anyone could complete this project. This pattern uses a special stitch called the linked double crochet, I have included a step-by-step tutorial for this stitch. The body is made in one piece and then we add the pockets for cards, coins, and cash. Some sewing knowledge is needed for this pattern.

In order to make this project, you will need worsted-weight yarn in your choice of colors (a main and accent color). You will also need a 3.25 mm crochet hook, yarn and sewing needle, a 7-inch zipper, sewing thread, and two buttons.
