ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING
Cardigan flat width (just below armhole) - 53, (63, 73) cm / 21, (25, 29) ins.
Length (from top of the shoulder) - 102, (102, 107) cm / 40, (40, 42) ins.
Sleeve length (from top of the shoulder unrolled) - 67, (72, 77) cm / 26 ½, (28 ½, 30 ¼) ins.
Sleeve width (just below armhole) - 19, (19, 23) cm, (7 ½, 7 ½, 9) ins.
GAUGE (Tension): 17 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm (4 ins), measured over basket weave pattern, (garment being blocked), using 6.00 mm (US 10) needle.
NB Needle size is only a guide - if you get too many stitches for 10 cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches for 10 cm, take a smaller needle size. It’s very important to check your gauge (tension) before starting as working to the wrong tension will mean your garment won’t be size shown.
