This poncho features a simple top down construction, beginning with a gradually increasing yoke, worked alongside eyelets and dropped stitches. The horizontal arm openings are placed low to provide maximum arm and body coverage, while allowing free hands. The lightweight fabric and side slits prevent the poncho from being too bulky, making it a perfect accessory for keeping your shoulders and arms warm on a summer or early fall evening.

The marled effect of the fabric is created by knitting with 2 balls of lace weight yarn held together. A single ball of Fingering/sport yarn can be substituted.
