Socks should not be scary to make, they should be simple and fun. Enter the Simpler Sisu socks- the perfect sock for anyone wanting an easy, fast, sturdy, and lovely heel situation. (Consider this a much-needed pedicure for your hand-knit socks)
Knit cuff-down with a short leg to compliment those warmer-weather outfits. The Simpler Sisu heel technique makes these socks fly off the needles. Pattern is written for 2 colors, but can be made with one, or any number of colors you choose.
Skill: Easy Intermediate
Recommended Yarn: Distracted by Yarn | 100% Merino | fingering/sock weight | 215-250ydstotal. If using a contrasting color, use a mini-skein (around 77yds)
Measurements: Shoe/Foot size: 6-7 (7-8, 8-9, 9-10, 10-11) US Standard Shoe Size
Gauge: 9 sts / 13 rows = 1” in Stockinette St
Notions: Size US 1 (2.25mm) DPNs or circular needles | tapestry needle
