Simplicity
I love shawls! I wear them every day, all year round. During a cold Norwegian winter, or long summer nights. I am particularly fond of shawls that double up as scarfs. Thus not too bulky.
In addition, I do adore single skein shawls. We all have that lovely one skein that do not go with anything else. The questions is “what to knit form it?” This shawl is perfect for that one beautiful single skein as the shawl is equally gorgeous knit in solid, semi-solid or a rather busy yarn.
The shawl is easy to knit, perfect for a beginner and perfect for those of us that need an easy knit in between everything else. The beautiful eyelet edge gives the shawl a sophisticated look.
There is no right and wrong side on this shawl, which makes it easy to wear.
I wish you an enjoyable time both when you knit and wear this shawl.

14 sts/22 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in pattern after blocking
Skills needed:
Casting on, knit, purl, yarn overs, knit two together, binding off.
Pattern notes:
The shawl can easily be made smaller or larger. If you use thinner or less yarn, the shawl will become smaller. Similarly, if you go the other way, thicker or more yarn, your shawl will become larger.
If you use thinner yarn with a higher yardage you may consider going down a needle size, otherwise your sts may become very loose. Likewise, if you use a bulkier yarn you may want to use larger needles.
