This pattern is knit from the top down, with the sleeve stitches placed on waste yarn as the body of the sweater is completed. The pattern can make a pullover sweater, or lengthened it could be a cute dress or a nightgown.

The neck is worked back and forth for a few rows, to make the sweater/dress easier to put on and remove from the doll. Tiny buttons close the neck opening.

Sleeveless, short sleeves, or long sleeves can be added.
