This Pattern is simple in its design and made to be worn open, it will not close/come together in the front. It consists of 2 panels that are sewn together, then lengthened with the border and trim. The large stitch from the size L hook will create a stretchy feel to the item. In order to truly add the elegant part to this pattern, you must select fancy, high quality yarn. The yarn used here is I LOVE THIS YARN METALLIC. I suggest something with a high sheen and soft feel if you don’t want to use metallic yarn. I would pick a cotton blend or silk/rayon blend. The pattern is written for a Ladies size XS with alternative sizes depicted in parenthesis XS(SM, MED, LG, XL, XXL, XXXL). Note: My model is a little too small for the XS she is modeling, the back and sleeves are more fitted on a true XS.
MATERIALS:
ILTY Metallic 5oz or other similar high quality yarn in the following amounts of skeins: 2(3, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5) If using a different type of yarn, be sure to buy the correct amount of ounces of yarn. Some brands do their fancy yarn in 3 oz skeins not 5.
Size L/11-8.00mm hook (or hook to obtain proper gauge size)

GAUGE: 3 HDC x 3 ROWS= 1 inch
It is very important to match the gauge if you want the sizing to be correct. Some of my testers had to go down in hook sizes to obtain the proper gauge.
