Don’t be intimidated by the fringe, it is fun and a great way to add a little fun to an outfit, give it a try. I have included step-by-step photo instructions for creating the TFS (twisted fringe stitch) at the beginning of the pattern to help you through. I have also added a little bling with beads, but you can easily knit without.

US size 5 3.75 mm straight OR circulars needles
Tapestry needle
9” piece of cardboard (makes approx. 3” fringe)
1mm crochet hook or Super floss (optional for placing beads)
40 grams Toho 6/0 glass beads in Metallic Plum Iris, 6T85-OS

The green shawl was made using Malabrigo sock in Ivy without changing colors and without beads.
