ABOUT THE DESIGN:
SIMPLY ME BLOUSE is a simple, cropped, oversized blouse with a beautiful box pleat on the back. The blouse has a wide boatneck, ¾ sleeves, and the simple look of garter stitch all the way to the edges.

The sizes are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm

Amount of positive ease in the design: 17-22 (18-23) 14-19 (20-25) 16-26 (12-22) cm
Length (from the top of the shoulder to the bind-off edge): ca. 47 (47) 48 (49) 51 (53) cm
Sleeve length (from underarm to wrist): 24 (24) 25 (25) 26 (26) cm
The garter stitch will stretch with wear!

500 (500) 500-550 (600) 600-650 (650) g VAYA (2 strands) from Langyarns (50 g = 200 m).
 
Alternative: (Off white version)
300 (300-350) 350 (400) 400-450 (450) g PALET (1 strand) from Isager Yarn (50 g = 160 m)

150 (150) 150 (150) 150-200 (200) g ALPACA 1 (1 strand) from Isager Yarn (50 g = 400 m).
 
GAUGE 10x10 cm:
19 sts x 34 rs in garter stitch on 5 mm needles with 2 strands of yarn.
 
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES:
Crochet hook 4 mm. DPN’s 4,5 mm
Circular needles 5 mm (40, 60, 80 cm)

SIMPLY ME BLOUSE is knitted from the top down. The yoke is worked back and forth with short rows across the chest. Extra stitches are cast on to create the pleat on the back (the pleat is crocheted closed after the body is done). The body is joined under the armholes, and the body is worked in garter stitch in the round using short rows to avoid all the purling. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked downwards in garter stitch in the round with short rows to prevent purling as on the body.
