Simply Plaid
This pattern has been re-released, with revised instructions and a fresh look! To celebrate, enjoy a 30% discount on this hat pattern through Sunday, June 18th! Thank you so much for your support, and for your patience as I’ve been busy revising this pattern in the background as I create new designs :)
This was one of my first knitting designs, originally released back in April 2018 – my work has developed a lot since then and I’m very proud to have the opportunity to re-release this design with fresh detailed instructions and a new sample! This hat was designed to be cozy, with a little bit of positive ease to give a slightly looser fit.
This hat is knit starting at the brim and working upward toward the crown. It is worked in the round, unseamed, and uses very simple stitches. The colorwork of the plaid motif is charted, and the chart also includes the decreases that form the crown. This should be a good pattern for knitters who are new to knitting in the round, working from charts, or knitting colorwork, as the instructions are written out plainly and meant to be easy to understand!
