This pattern is for a simple and quick washcloth. Two strands of worsted weight cotton/cotton blend yarns are held together throughout (resulting in aran weight). It works up fast and can be personalized to make smaller or a larger washcloth.

Simple beginner project that will work up quick. Great for spa baskets, stocking stuffers, or gifts when paired with bath soap.

Gauge is not critical as you can quickly see how large your width is when casting on and just add multiples of five until you get the width you want. Be sure if you want it square to also add an extra pattern repeat in length.

With a skein of each color you should be able to do two large cloths.
