One of our “Simply Lined” patterns developed by The Spotted Sheep Yarn Shoppe for our customers who love the cozy feel of lined garments. In our cold New England winters, these mittens are sure to keep your hands toasty warm.

Difficulty: Advanced Beginner.

“Held together” notes - yarns are only held together for the cuff.

Materials:
110 yards each: Bulky yarn (“liner”) & Worsted weight yarn (“outer”).
~18” waste yarn, of a smooth fiber & contrasting color from your mitten yarn.
Needles: dpns in each of these sizes: US 7, US8, US9, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 5 sts/inch for individual yarns. Held together, with size 9 needles – 3 ½ sts/inch
Accessories: Stitch markers. Tapestry needle. Stitch holder.

Pattern feedback: Lined mitten pattern can be made for children by using smaller needles and thinner yarn.
