Introduction
This shawl uses a simple repeating pattern that grows as much as you want it to. It is snuggly and warm and will keep you toasty whenever you need to be extra cosy.

Pattern Notes
This shawl has been designed to work with pretty much any yarn. I would suggest doing a gauge swatch with your chosen yarn and using a needle size larger than is recommended to give a good drape. Make sure you are happy with the look of your fabric before continuing.

You can stop knitting at any point in the pattern and cast off on any right-side row using either a standard bind-off or the more decorative picot bind-off described in the pattern, depending on your style preferences.

The sample was knitted holding hand dyed 4ply merino/silk singles (400m/100g) and mohair/silk lace (400m/50g) together and using 5.5mm, 80cm circular needles.

Colours are changed as you get towards the end of each ball, rather than at a set number of rows.
You could create a similar effect using:

Rowan Sock - 400m/427y per 100g - 3 balls
Rowan Silky Kid - 210m/230y per 100g - 6 balls
