Simply Spiraled Crochet
Who says Entrelac Crochet has to be done in Diamonds? Not me and now, you either.
Create a square or rectangle with this spiraling pattern using self striping yarn. Pictured using Bernat Mosaic in Ambrosia (teals, purples, brown) and Calypso (rainbow). Just 4 skeins creates a 32”x32” size baby afghan. The results are just stunning and you will be mesmerized. Pattern is written that you adjust the size as you wish. Make your base square or rectangle, then keep going round and round to the size you desire.
This pattern uses Tunisian Simple stitch, with decreases and increases to create the corners. No special hook needed, just a standard metal K Size hook was used. No prior tunisian or entrelac is needed, however due to the increases and decreases this is not a beginner project.
Pattern is written in American Standard terms with diagrams to help you along the way. Permission to sell finished items given with credit for design.
I would like to give credit to my wonderful pattern testers from the Crochetville forum, thank you.
From my hook to yours, Carlinda Lewis.
