Simply Stripes
Because this sweater is stitched from side to side, if you want to change the length of the garment you need to make changes in the number of stitches, not the number of rows. You can increase or decrease the width by adding or subtracting “stripes”.
While the model shown used high contrast colors for a lot of punch, you could easily substitute more subtle color combinations. If the shape of the garment appeals to you but you are not big on stripes, just make it all in one color!
