The Simply Sunshine Square is a simple and elegant textured afghan block. However, you can transform it into something totally different, if you decide to play a little with colors! It was originally designed to be used on my Chameleon Bag, but you can use it in many other ways!

This easy to follow pattern provides full written instructions in standard US crochet terms.

MATERIALS:

You can use any type of yarn for this project. The finished size of your square will depend on the yarn weight, and the hook size used. The squares in the pictures were made with Scheepjes Catona (100% cotton, 125m/50g) and a 3mm hook, and their finished size is approximately 20cm per side.
