DETAILS
Simply the Best Entredeux sweater pattern is a colorwork yoke motif that resembles the traditional heirloom Entredeaux sewing and lace technique but all done with knitted slip stitches. This sweater is knit with a provisional cast on at the widest point of the yoke and worked up to the neckline and then those held stitches are resumed and worked down for the body. This way you get the best control of your knit for the perfect fit.

In the pattern, I have linked a wonderful YouTube video tutorial which shows how to easily make a provisional cast on using a Barber Cord or spare cable needle for the held stitches. It is really simple so you can feel very much at ease with this this cast on technique.
