This is designed to be a very simple, super warm sweater for sweater knitting beginners. It’s easy to omit the cables, but also has fully written out instructions for them if you are new to cables and want to try them. The cables cause it to have a very slight shape to it, though there is no actual “shaping” in the pattern.
It should fit small to medium adults. It’s snug on me and I consider myself a smaller medium.

Disclaimer: I don’t consider myself a pattern designer, this came about from a desire for a sweater that I couldn’t for the life of me find a pattern for, so I tried my best on it, but it is my first design so it might be a little awkwardly worded, and I didn’t do the work to figure out other sizes. Feel free to make changes, use different stitch patterns, etc.

Knit with 2 strands of super bulky held together on 32 inch size 15 circular needles (you’ll need something shorter or dpns for the collar and sleeves if you don’t want to use magic loop). If it’s for a shorter person, 1000 yards should be enough, but it could be up to 1200 if you want it on the long side. Seamless, except for sewing up the underarms.
