This is a pattern for or a knit shawl that features two Estonian stitches: an Estonian border stitch, and an Estonian Focal stitch. The Focal stitch is a lace flower stitch, incorporating nupps. There are two methods of adding nupps to your knitting contained within the pattern. The border stitch, unlike many Estonian shawls,which are sewn on, is knitted in the garment.. The combination of the two stitches makes for a very pretty and unusual lace shawl.

Contained within the pattern are instructions for making a shawl, a very large shawl, a wide scarf and a narrow scarf.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).

The pattern for all the stitches are both charted and written out line by line.
