A ribbed style sock without being a completely boring knit, the Sine Wave sock is mostly ribbing and some simple cables.
Interesting to knit, and interesting to look at.

The sine wave featured a lot in my engineering degree, and what a way to pay tribute to engineering mathematics.
While knitting, this little rib appears like a broken rib, when you wear it the beautiful curves appear and look like mirrored sine wave graphs!

Cables can be knit with or without a cable needle, or like I did with a darning needle!
Instructions and tutorial links included in the pattern.

Pattern is written and charted, with clear instructions suitable for beginner sock knitters and experienced alike.

Use that one skein of special sock yarn that deserves a bit more than a plain sock, or a plain yarn with an attractive pattern that works for Grandpa or Mum.
