Singing Dunes Hat
‘Singing dunes’ is a strange phenomenon where air hums and groans through the sand as high winds sweep across the desert.
A stranded colourwork hat, Singing Dunes is worked from brim to crown, full of little flowering cacti, vivid colours and heat rising over the dunes.
This hat has a slightly slouchy crown which suits a big pom-pom perfectly. There is also an option to add hand appliqued cactus flowers which gives a really nice finished result.
I have included mini tutorials and links to my videos to walk you through some of the techniques used in the pattern.
