If you’d like your cowl to sit closer to your face and neck, or if you’d like to convert it to a longer “infinity scarf,” simply increase or decrease your foundation stitch count by “2”s.

Gauge is not essential here, but slightly looser will increase drape, whereas tighter will give you a stiffer cowl. If you work too loosely you may use/need more yarn, so just be aware of that.

The foundation of the pattern is worked in a row that is joined, and the remainder is worked in joined rounds.
