Single Strand Rope Handles (To Crochet)
This pattern is
available for free.
Use this technique to create a thick “rope” for handles on all of your craft project bags/totes/purses etc. Finished handles will have just one tail to weave in per end, instead of dozens of dangling threads and produces a thick, durable and neat looking handle.
Finished product as written has 18 chains in 15 inches of “rope” which is approximately 1.3 inches wide. But you can use the technique to make handles of any length.
