Singsjön Slippers
Singsjön is where my family cabin is. My great grandfather built it many decades ago and I’ve spent a lot of time there both in my childhood but also as an adult. My great grandmother loved lupines and always asked me to bring her a bouquet back to her when she lived. The lupines in Singsjön that inspired me to knit this pattern.
The slipper has a small cuff with a Latvian braid, a one colored short row heel, and a stranded pattern inspired by lupines on foot and sole. The toe is wide and joined with kitchener stitch.
This slipper is knitted in Järbo Raggi in two contrasting colors, using 50, (50), 60 grams of each color.
To achieve the correct size make sure to check your gauge, and adjust the needles if you need to.
