Lace skrit worked sideways with short rows. The idea is that a slightly flaring shape is achieved trhough different size of pattern repeats. The wider repeats are also the higher ones.
Gauge for the narrowest pattern repeat: 10 sts x 8 rows in the pattern = 5 cm x 2.8 cm.
