Sintra Top by Freaky For Yarn

Sintra Top

This pattern is available for €8.00 EUR buy it now

This is my new favorite top, cute and comfortable to wear but also so easy and fun to make crochet top, perfect for beginners and anyone that loves a quick project! It’s super easy to make to measure and you can use any yarn and hook you have. This top was made for a trip to Sintra, the cutest city in Portugal with the most unique castles and palaces, hence the name ahah.

I recommend using recycle cotton yarn, which is perfect for the summer time, but you can use metallic or velvet yarns for evening looks and from lace to Aran /Worsted weight yarn everything is workable since this is a made to measure pattern.

What this pattern includes:

  • Detailed instructions with pictures of all the stitch and details of the pattern along side small charts / diagrams for the visual people out here;
  • A comparison between the orange and red top since they were made with 2 different weight yarns.

All you will need is:

  • Yarn: I would recommend recycled cotton or any other plant fiber.
  • Crochet Hook: recommendations for different weight yarns are included in the pattern
  • Scissors to cut the yarn.
  • Tapestry needle or a smaller crochet hook to weave in the ends.
  • Stitch markers are recommended for beginners, but a titch marker can be a piece of string, a paper clip, anything really :)

Sizing:

The sample in this patter is a size XS size (around 80 cm upper bust measurement) and detailed explanation of how to make the top to your own measurements are also given.
