Sip of Bobbly Socks
Ring in the New Year with these fun & cozy socks!
They feature an effervescent chevron of tiny bobbles around the cuff and an all-over twisted rib patterning to keep things interesting without stealing all your attention. (You’ve still gotta be able to watch the New Year’s celebrations, right?)
The pattern includes variations for both toe-up and cuff-down options and uses a short-row heel along with a standard wedge toe, but feel free to substitute your favorites as needed.
Unlike the usual New Year’s sip of bubbly, the Sip of Bobbly Socks are intended for all ages, so the pattern is written for 6 sizes: Toddler – Adult Large.

Errata
Unfortunately there were a few errors that we missed catching in the sock pattern at launch. The file you receive upon purchase has all the corrections made to it already. You should have already received an email with the corrected version if you purchased the pattern before 1/11/21.
Even though they’re not massive errors, I do apologize for any confusion that they may have caused as you worked on your project.
In the Heel Section it should read:
Repeat Rows 3 & 4 until 6 (6, 8, 8, 10, 10) sts remain unworked between the gsr’s.
In the Cuff-Down version’s Foot Section it should read:
Repeat Rnd 1 until the foot (measured from the back of the heel when laid flat) measures 1.25 (1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.25, 2.5)” / 3 (4, 4.5, 5, 6, 6.5) cm less than desired length.
