Every Princess (or Prince!) needs a loyal Butler to serve them and carry their belongings. This Sir Peppermint Purse is just the solution! Thank you for purchasing my pattern! If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to contact me through my many social media outlets! Happy crocheting! Feel free to tag me with your purses! I would love to see the many expressions and customizations people create!

Special Stitches in the pattern include the Thermal Stitch and the Linked Double Crochet, though there are alternatives for these stitches. Intermediate level pattern!

Gauge isn’t extremely necessary; if you don’t meet my gauge, he will simply be larger or smaller. The Gauge Swatch can also double as an inner pocket.

Materials Needed:

  • 6mm (J in US) hook
  • 4/4.5mm (G/7 in US) hook
  • 2.25mm (B in US) hook
  • Worsted/Aran (4) weight yarn in White, Red, Blue/Teal, and Gold/Yellow -- I used approximately two (2) 232 yard skeins of White, Red, and Blue/Teal color, and a minimal amount of Gold/Yellow. -- Colors used: --- Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Low-Pill Fiber in Teal Green --- Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Low-Pill Fiber in Red --- Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Low-Pill Fiber in White Sparkle --- Yarn Bee Comfy Classic in Gold
  • Black Embroidery Floss
  • I used all six (6) strands of DMC 310
  • Polyester Fiberfill (Not sure exact amount, but really just enough for arms and legs)
  • Optional EVA foam dowel rods for arms and legs -- I used 4 small 6 ½ inch (16.5cm) EVA rods from Yaya Han’s EVA foam line.
  • Yarn needle (recommended for purse assembly)
  • Scissors
  • Stitch Markers (I usually use bobby pins, but you’re welcome to use anything to keep your place each row!)
