Sirena Capelet DK
This is the sister pattern to my Sirena Capelet pattern. This version is in DK and creates a lovely warm capelet, perfect for winter! If you’d like to make a 4ply version then you can find the pattern here - Sirena Capelet
This capelet is a beautiful and relaxing knit. It is designed so that I can be worn in many ways, making it a versatile knit and the perfect staple piece. Only one skein is required to complete this pattern, so it is ideal for that one skein that you have been holding onto!
This pattern contains charts and requires some knowledge of how to read charts. However, the Sirena Capelet is perfect for your first project with charts as each symbol used is detailed and the pattern repeats so it is easy to get into a rhythm. The Capelet is knitted flat and then sewn together.
Finished Measurements
35.5 inches long at the bottom edge, 31 inches on edge round neck, and 12 inches deep.
The sample was made using DK weight yarn (246 yards to 100g) and uses 99g. The pattern is easily customised and you can make it longer so if you wish to extend your capelet then you will need more than one skein.
