This is a quick and easy pattern that caters to knitters at all levels! Here are some useful tips to get you started:

  • If you are using Madelinetosh BFL Sock, be sure to double up the yarn so it creates the right thickness and works well with US 8 needles.
  • Blocking is not required for this size, but it will be if you wish for a looser fit.
  • For the thumb gusset in particular, I recommend using double pointed needles over magic loop for a tighter and neater finish.
  • Less than 1 skein of Madelinetosh BFL Sock (divided into 2 balls) is needed to complete this pattern.
  • Be sure to check out the Info and Tips page (3) prior to starting your project.
