Siro Sock
Siro Sock is a delicate sock pattern with a little Japanese vibes.
Siro gets its look from small flowers. The stitch pattern is easy to knit, because it plays only with 4 rows - and 2 of them are stockinette. On one row you decrease in two directions and on one row you increase the stitches back.
The ribbing with twisted stitches is reversible and you can wrap the cuffs if you like.
The heel is a Japanese short row heel. It’s fun to learn a new technique and the heel is actually so much easier than you could imagine. Just add some locking stitch markers on your working yarn and pick up the stitches later. They are already waiting for you on your markers.
The socks are knit from the toe up. The pattern is written for both, the magic loop method and DPN’s.
The sizing is simple: slim. The length of the sock is perfectly adjustable just for your size. Blocking may help if you prefer looser socks.
The pattern is perfect with simple speckled yarn but shows the stitches great with solid yarn too.
