Sirocco Pullover
Geometric lace is the focal point of the sweet Sirocco Pullover, leading your eyes from the delicate collar, over the shoulders, and down the sleeves. It’s worked in the round from the bottom to the underarm and then the front and back are worked separately back and forth.

Finished Size 30½ (35, 38, 42, 45¾, 49½, 53¼)“ circumference at underarm. Pullover shown measures 35”; modeled with 5” of positive ease.
Yarn Trendsetter Yarns Merino VI (100% extrafine superwash merino wool; 135 yd (123 m)/1¾ oz (50 g)): #343 gold tweed, 9 (10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17) skeins.
Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16” circular (cir). Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 21 sts and 29 rnds = 4” in St st on larger needle; 23 sts and 25 rnds = 4” in Lace patt on larger needle.

The body of this pullover is worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarm, then the upper front and back are worked separately back and forth.

The stitch count of the lace pattern increases on each right-side row and then decreases back to the original number on each wrong-side row. When counting stitches, count only after a wrong-side row. When working sleeve cap decreases, if there are not enough stitches to work a pattern repeat, do not work the initial yarnover of that repeat, then work the stitches in stockinette stitch. Continue to drop the yarnovers on wrong-side rows so that they do not get worked as a stitch when decreasing. Work the decrease, then continue in pattern, lining up the psso’s as established in previous rows.
