sissy
“SISSY” is the slightly naughty sister of “NICKS”. Short in the back to show off a flirty backside, longish in the sides for drama, and a v-neck front to show off your newest neckpiece. A tunic for all seasons: wear a tank under for the summer and a turtleneck for fall. You can choose to leave the front open (like a sleeveless cardigan) or partially seam the center front for a tunic look. It can even be worn backwards for a draped, cowl like neckline. This is a shorter, smaller, different version of NICKS for those wanting a little less drama, or might be on the petite side.
An unusual rectangular design, you start at the lower left front/back and knit up to the center of the back and then down the right front/back. A clever construction that develops in to a seamless and one piece tunic.
Although this is designed as a one size fits all, you can enlarge it easily by increasing the cast on.
In the peppercorn color way, this simpler version allows the yarn to share the spotlight. The linen/silk blend of the Handmaiden FLAXEN is so perfect for drape, beauty, and a lovely hand while knitting.
