The Sisters Cowl is a lightweight cowl that forms a large loop, which can then be wrapped around the neck once or twice, depending on how cold the weather is.

Blocks of textured stitches interspersed with garter stitch gives just enough interest to keep you going without it being overly taxing!

Directions are given for provisional cast on and Kitchener St or Three Needle Bind Off, but you can use a regular cast on and sew the two ends together at the end instead.

This pattern works very well with 5 x 20g mini skeins, as you simply work the whole mini until it is finished and then proceed to the next pattern section using a different mini. A little more thought is needed if using a 100g skein. Directions are given in the pattern for this.

Needles: 4.5mm (US 7) needles (or size needed to get gauge).
A second set of needles are needed for Kitchener Stitch or three needle cast off at end. Crochet hook (size not important) for provisional cast on.

Yarn: 5 x 20g minis or 100g (459 yds/420 m) fingering weight yarn

Yarns used in sample: Knit and Pearl Yarns Mini Skein Set Gradient 5 x 20g
