Inspired by the beauty that is the Pacific west coast, this beanie is named after the mighty Sitka Spruce and is the first in a series of aptly names designs. The rich texture and depth of the design make it a great choice for any outdoor adventure.

  • Beanie is knit in the round on circular needles, from the bottom up

  • Pattern uses Super Bulky weight yarn. I have included yarn suggestions and gauge for both lighter SB and full weight SB yarns

  • Pattern includes written instructions, photos and video tutorials

  • Written for one size (Adult) but details are also included on how to size up and down for additional sizes if preferred

  • 8mm & 9mm, 16” circular needles are required to make the beanie. 9mm DPNs are recommended for closing but not required

  • This is an advanced beginner pattern and knitters should have some knowledge of how to K, P, K2TOG, P2TOG, and KTBL.
