Six Stripe Poncho
This simple garter stitch striped poncho is a fantastic canvas for playing with color. Use up your scraps from previous projects, or combine single skeins that you’ve accumulated over time.
Needles
A 32-inch or longer circular needle in the size required to achieve gauge is recommended, to hold all the stitches along the long edge of each rectangle.
Yarn requirements
Worsted-weight yarn in the following amounts…
Colors A and B = 200 yards each
Colors C and D = 160 yards each
Colors E and F = 120 yards each
The pattern includes a blank coloring template so that you can try out color combinations before knitting.
Techniques
German twisted cast-on, Yarn-over bind-off, and Mattress stitch. Links to tutorial videos for each technique are included in the pattern.
