Yarn:
Léttlopi , 100% Icelandic wool (1 skein: 50 g = 100 m / 109 yd)
or any Aran weight wool

Color A 85 g ‘0051 White’
Color B 50 g ‘1404 Glacier blue heather’
Color C 40 g ‘9429 Red purple heather’
Color D 30 g ‘1413 Lilac heather’
Color E 20 g ‘1402 Heaven blue heather’

Needles:
4 mm circular needle or similar to meet the gauge
3 mm dpns to knit the bottom loops and the i-cord straps

Finished size: Height 39 cm (15,3 in), width 34 cm (13,3 in)

This backpack is knit from bottom to top. I give you two different knitting options. You can either magic loop your backpack or knit it in the round. After cast on row you knit the charts, then you knit the strap holes, bind off, knit the bottom loops and straps.
