Sixties Mod Overlay Mosaic
I have always loved 60s and 70s mod designs. I love the geometric shapes and fun colors. I really wanted to design a blanket that samples some of the fun wall paper and fabric designs that come from that era. I felt like the rainbow colors really brought to mind the 60s, and the colors made me feel so happy while working on this blanket.
The blanket shown measures approximately 44 x 53 inches with the border. It is 218 stitches wide and 265 rows tall. You can adjust the width to make the blanket wider or smaller. Instructions are included in the pattern.
I used 3 skeins of Lion Brand Mandala in Gnome (I had barely any yarn left, so you may want to get a fourth skein to be safe), and 1.75 skeins of the Bernat Baby Sport yarn. I worked 3 rounds of double crochet for the envelope border. I ended up needing to use a tiny bit of a third skein to crochet both edges of the envelope border together.
There are three file options to download; chart only, chart and written in US terms, and chart and written in UK terms.
