• Size N/10 mm crochet hook (for base chain)
• Size M/13/9.00 mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle

STITCH OVERVIEW

The main stitch pattern is Griddle Stitch, which is a combination of single crochet stitches worked into double crochet stitches and double crochet stitches worked into single crochet stitches. Rows on each of the shawl’s ends (“ribbed” rows), consist of a repeat of 4 rows that include Griddle Stitch and half double crochet. Some of these rows are worked in back loops only; others are not.

You should also be familiar with hdc decreases.
