The Ylva Shawl is in the shape of a half circle and is knitted in two colours of fingering yarn (about 420m/100g in each skein). One can be a solid colour and one gradient or variegated. Using slipped stitches, you create a pattern even though you only have to knit with one colour at a time.

The shawl includes two techniques that I learned from the shawls namesake, Ylva. Her own version of an extra stretchy garter edge and an almost invisible increase.
